Tigers Vision

Tiger's vision

Intention

Tiger's Nest has grown from a small seed and is still young in its sapling stage, trying to reach up to the skies and caress great father sun. For its roots to grow strong and its vast intention to grow buds of beauty, compassion and clarity we need you to help this tree grow. The best way one can do this is by coming along to our retreats and seeing what we are trying to create.

As we grow, we would like to include a wider range of retreats, workshops and opportunities for human and spiritual growth. Tiger's nest is not just concerned with Dharma as a concept taken from the east, but its greater vision is to see dharma in the true meaning of the word (truth).

Dharma manifests in an infinite number of ways and we would like to support the ways it has manifested in our own culture, honouring the sacred traditions of this land, whilst also being open and compassionate enough to allow the organic growth of our spirit, through supporting each other on our spiritual paths in this human form.

As Tiger's Nest grows, we would like to buy some land, so we can start with having a basic ground for the project to take root. A space for all generations to share their spiritual longings, free from bias or sectarianism. We can then start to build a Gar or round house where we can run retreats and workshops throughout the year.

The different types of courses/retreats we would like to run range from ancient survival skills, storytelling, woodcrafts, support for the terminally ill, widerness retreats for those with addictive tendencies, and many opportunities to bring people together for a purpose bigger than we can even begin to imagine.

At the same time we will continue to invite elders from all traditions including Shamansim, Christianity, Judaism, Sufism and our own native traditions.

If anyone is inspired by this vision and would like to find out more about the Tiger's Nest project, please send us an e mail, we will be happy to talk.

In the same way if anyone would like to donate any land, money or skills to the project, please get in touch.
